Understanding Time Zones

Time zones are regions of the Earth that have the same standard time. They are roughly divided by longitude, with each zone typically differing by one hour from adjacent zones. The UTC offset shows how many hours ahead or behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) each location is.

Day/Night Indicators

Each city card displays whether it's currently day or night in that location. Daytime is considered 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time, with a warm-toned indicator. Night time (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) is shown with a cool-toned indicator. This helps you quickly identify appropriate times to contact someone or schedule meetings.
